Hockey World Championships

The IIHF World Championship is the annual world championship of men’s ice hockey, run by the International Ice Hockey Federation and normally played in May. Canada has won it 28 times, more than any other nation. Finland won the 2026 tournament in Switzerland, beating the hosts 1-0 in overtime in the final.
