On Monday, the Florida Panthers received their Stanley Cup rings for their 2024–2025 win. The rings were, as usual, very large. The size of the ring made it difficult for Brad Marchand to wear it, and he made a hilarious “complaint” when asked about it.
The Florida Panthers have now won back-to-back Stanley Cups and have made enemies across the league with their tough, sometimes over-the-line style of play and their feisty attitude—mainly led by world-class chirpers like Matthew Tkachuk and Brad Marchand that have a unique ability to get under their opponent’s skin.

20 points in 23 games
Marchand was acquired by the Panthers at the trade deadline, and even though he has yet to spend a full season with the team, he fits right in with the group. He scored 20 points in 23 playoff games to help the Panthers win their second consecutive Cup.

When the Panthers received their 2024–2025 Stanley Cup rings on Monday—the day before their season opener—they also sparked controversy among fans by engraving the inside of the rings with the phrase “We apologize to no one,” along with the names of the teams they defeated on their way to the Cup win.
But the ring ceremony wasn’t all fun—at least not for Brad Marchand. The reason? The ring is too big for him. When asked how he felt about his new jewelry, he responded:
“It’s bigger than my hand. It looks great. It’s a tough time to have little fingers with a ring like that,” he said according to Essentially Sports.
