Charles Barkley

Charles Barkley is an American basketball Hall of Famer and television analyst who appears in hockey as a guest rather than an expert. Barkley was the first guest on the NHL on TNT’s debut pregame show in 2021 and has since turned up on Stanley Cup Final alternate broadcasts; Wayne Gretzky has credited Barkley with talking him into joining Turner’s hockey coverage. Barkley’s main job is Inside the NBA, which moved to ESPN in October 2025.
