The Philadelphia Flyers won their second game in a row last night against the Seattle Kraken, but most of the buzz afterward centered on Travis Konecny and his chirp at Ryan Lindgren following a third-period fight.
Konecny has become a fan favorite in Philadelphia since joining the Flyers in 2016, after being drafted 24th overall in 2015. Since the 2023–24 season, he has served as an assistant captain to Sean Couturier. Last season, Konecny recorded a career-high 76 points in 82 games.

Not afraid to drop the gloves
Not only does he produce offensively, but he’s also never been afraid to drop the gloves. According to HockeyFights.com, Konecny has been involved in eleven fights — including last night’s altercation with Kraken defenseman Ryan Lindgren, who’s also no stranger to fighting.
The bout was more of a wrestling match than a true fight, but Konecny came out on top. As both players were being escorted to the penalty boxes, Lindgren was seen bleeding from his nose — something Konecny wasted no time pointing out.
Travis Konecny chirping Ryan Lindgren
In a video circulating online, Konecny can be seen pointing at Lindgren from across the ice, mouthing the words “look at your face” while laughing — and fans are loving the chirp.
“I loved him saying ‘Look at your face!’” one fan wrote.
“Travis Konecny is hilarious,” another added.
“Good. More of this please,” a third chimed in.
Next up, the Flyers will face the Ottawa Senators.
