The Colorado Avalanche clinched the Presidents’ Trophy with their 3–1 win over the Calgary Flames on Thursday. Now, a video of Nathan MacKinnon dropping F-bombs on the ice is going viral among hockey fans, who all seem to be saying the same thing about it: that MacKinnon is locked in for the playoffs.
The Colorado Avalanche have had a tremendous season so far. After establishing themselves as the best team in the league, they clinched the Presidents’ Trophy on Thursday against the already eliminated Calgary Flames.

On pace for 133 points
The Avalanche won 3–1, with one goal and two assists from Nathan MacKinnon, who is also enjoying another outstanding season. His performance on Thursday brings him to 126 points so far, with four games left to play, meaning he is on pace for 133 points. That would be MacKinnon’s second-highest total, behind only his 2023–2024 season, when he registered 140 points. With 52 goals so far, he is also on his way to winning his first Rocket Richard Trophy as the league’s top goal scorer.
Nathan MacKinnon dropping F-bombs
Nathan MacKinnon is extremely competitive, something he shows night after night, and he always wants to win. Last night, he was caught on mic dropping F-bombs at the officials after they did not call a penalty on a Calgary player he believed had hooked him. The video of MacKinnon cursing is now going viral among hockey fans, who love to see just how much he wants to win.
