Marc-Andre Fleury is the most wholesome guy in the league. He’s been one of the best goalies for many years, but that’s not the only reason he’s so well-liked by other players, coaches, and fans.
Fleury is just a special guy and someone who just makes you smile.
During his years in Pittsburgh, Fleury made himself renowned as a prankster. He often pulled amazing pranks on Sidney Crosby and always made those around him laugh with jokes and other shenanigans.
Fleury is often hilarious when talking to the media, and after his matchup against St. Louis Blues, he proved just how funny he is.
The contest displayed a Jordan Binnington shitshow, as he punched a Wild player and then wanted to fight Marc-Andre Fleury, who had skated the full length to confront his goalie rival.

Afterward, he explained his decision to try and fight Binnington, and everyone laughed their asses off.
”That one was pretty quick. One of the guys said (Binnington) hit them in the nuts, in the nutsack. Can I say nutsack? Then when I saw him throw another one at our guy, that was the time,” he said.
Luckily for everyone, Fleury was also mic’d up during the game, and it brought some A-plus content. When Fleury skated to Binnington, he was pushed away by officials. But as he was mic’d up, we now know what was said between them.
“No, no, no. We’re not done. Come on. It’ll be good,” Fleury told the ref. “He always wants to fight somebody. It’ll be fun, no? We’ll get the crowd going a little bit.”
But that wasn’t the only great content from Fleury being mic’d up. After the game, he could be heard thanking his goalposts. It’s probably a habit most goalies have, but what made Fleury’s so special was that he did it in two languages. He was asked about it by reporter Allan Walsh, and his response was so wholesome.
“I never know if the steel is from Quebec or the states. I would rather stay polite and not take any chances.”
This just proves it: Marc-Andre Fleury is the nicest guy in the league.
