Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron bully the LA Kings in sensational penalty-killing sequence

It is just as satisfying to watch a good powerplay as watching an outstanding box play. Making sure the clock runs out without letting your opponent get into high-scoring goal chances is an art, and what the Boston Bruins did last night, against the LA Kings, was like eye candy for every hockey lover.

The LA Kings were assessed a powerplay in the middle of the second period, and the Bruins put Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand, and Charlie McAvoy on the ice. What followed was a pure show in penalty-killing, with the Bruins trio bullying the King’s five players and even created quality goalscoring opportunities.

If you didn’t have the graphic up in the corner of the TV, you probably would have thought that it was the Bruins powerplay on display. Massive respect to Bergeron and Marchand. What a pair to have on your team!
