NHL veteran does the funniest thing after fist bumping young Toronto fans, fans are absolutely loving it

Kyle Clifford played a lot of games with the LA Kings for several years, but since his move to the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2021, he’s been spending most of his time in the AHL.

Clifford is a defensive forward, not really famous for his goal-scoring, but he still puts in the shift with the Toronto Marlies. This season, Clifford has only played in two NHL games, and that was in late October. He played less than 10 minutes in both of those games.

Clifford has ten points in 24 games with the Marlies this season, but it’s valuable for any team in the AHL to have a player with the experience like the one Clifford has.

He’s played in 753 NHL games during his career, and although it’s every player’s wish to be in the NHL rather than the AHL, he really seems to be humble and enjoying his time there.

Although Clifford isn’t scoring many points in the AHL at the moment, he’s still getting some attention on social media, and it’s for the most wholesome reason.

The Toronto Marlies shared a video on TikTok of Clifford walking by some kids looking for first bumps during a Marlies game. Bunting took his time to stop by and fist bump the kids and have a little snack.

Some of the kids waiting had popcorn and snacks with them, and as he stopped by, he also ate some of the kids’ snacks and popcorn.

The likes have been raining in for the video on Twitter and TikTok, and we totally understand why. This is lovely!
