Wes McCauley

Wes McCauley is an NHL referee, widely regarded as the best in the league and the rare official with a fan following, thanks to his theatrical penalty announcements. McCauley has worked more than 1,500 regular-season games since debuting in 2003 and has officiated 12 Stanley Cup Finals. McCauley is the son of John McCauley, a referee who later ran NHL officiating.
