Ron Hextall
Ron Hextall was a Canadian goaltender who won the Vezina Trophy and the Conn Smythe Trophy as a rookie in 1987, and who became the first goaltender in NHL history to score a goal by shooting the puck the length of the ice. Hextall played 608 NHL games, most of them for Philadelphia across two spells. Hextall later ran two front offices, as general manager of the Flyers from 2014 to 2018 and of the Penguins from 2021 until his dismissal in April 2023.
