Evgeni Malkin

Evgeni Malkin is a Russian professional hockey player who plays for the Pittsburgh Penguins. Many consider Malkin one of the best Russian players of his generation, alongside Alexander Ovechkin and Ilya Kovalchuk.

The Pittsburgh Penguins selected him second overall in the 2004 NHL Draft. Along with Sidney Crosby, Kris Letang, and Marc-André Fleury, Malkin helped form the Penguins’ core that won three Stanley Cups between 2009 and 2017.

His contract with the Penguins runs through the 2025–2026 season.
