Toronto’s Stadium Series Jerseys May Have Been Leaked!

On March 3rd, 2018, the Toronto Maple Leafs and Washington Capitals will play outdoors in Annapolis, Md. Known as the Stadium Series, these one-off contests go back in time to when NHLers used to play outdoors and were exposed to the elements.

Usually, when a Stadium Series is announced, it means the participating teams will don special jerseys for the game. We saw Ottawa and Montreal wear specific Heritage jerseys this season and it looks like Toronto and Washington will be no different.

We may get a glimpse into what the Leafs’ will be wearing come March, as jersey images have surfaced online. A Twitter account dedicated to hockey jersey concepts tweeted out the picture to Pro Image Pickering, which is a store in the Pickering, Ontario area.

The store confirmed these would be the jerseys the Leafs would wear in their outdoor game, so now we’re just waiting for the organization to officially launch their jersey concept to the public.
