Many sports stars have proven themselves to be pretty good in other sports as well.
For example, Anders Lee of the New York Islanders was an All-State quarterback at Edina High School back in the day.
At the same time, Stars captain Jamie Been might have ended up as a professional baseball player. He was named MVP of the provincial AAA champion Victoria Capitals.
The Score reports that Benn, selected in the 5th round of the 2007 NHL draft, that he almost lost out on the opportunity to play in the league because he devoted his practice to baseball instead of hockey.
But some players have proven not to be particularly great in other sports. Just ask Tom Wilson.
The Capitals left the bubble following the 4-1 loss to the Islanders in the first round of the Stanley Cup playoffs.
Now, Wilson can focus on volleyball during the offseason. But it turns out he needs some major work in the sport.
Wilson’s girlfriend Taylor Pischke is a Canadian volleyball pro. In a clip published on Instagram, Pischke and Wilson decided to practice some basic volleyball skills. But it was pretty clear, the sport wasn’t for him.
But even though he might not be the best volleyball player in the world, this clip is amazing!
