Microphone caught Charlie McAvoy dropping F-Bombs to the referee, and his quick reply is hilarious

The referees always turn to their microphone to announce their calls, but last night, it backfired, as Boston Bruins defenseman Charlie McAvoy was caught dropping F-bombs.

McAvoy was called for a penalty during the game between the Boston Bruins and the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday. In typical fashion, the official turned on the mic to announce the penalty, but McAvoy skated by to have his say in the exact right – or wrong – time. The D-Man didn’t like the call and yelled to the ref, not politely asking him if he was”f*cking kidding me.

What’s even funnier is that the microphone caught up with the referee answering McAvoy with a loud and clear, ”nope!”

Boston was up 2-0 when the penalty was handed to McAvoy, and just seconds after he left the penalty box, the Red Wings scored to make it a one-goal game. Then, the Red Wings turned things around and eventually won, 5-3.
