Matthew Tkachuk’s hilarious promise to Florida nightclub

A Stanley Cup win obviously calls for a big celebration. Usually, the winning team goes on a multi-day party spree after securing the Cup. The Florida Panthers are no exception—especially since they got the hang of it last year. Matthew Tkachuk has now made a promise to repeat one thing from last year’s celebrations…

Once again, the Florida Panthers managed to overpower Connor McDavid, Leon Draisaitl, and the rest of the Edmonton Oilers in a rematch of last year’s Stanley Cup Final. Only this time, the Panthers got it done in six games, with a dominant 5–1 victory last night, where Sam Reinhart scored a staggering four goals.

Celebrated at famous bar

After last year’s Stanley Cup win, the Panthers went on a wild celebration spree, partying with fans and locals. Matthew Tkachuk, a known rascal both on and off the ice, made a memorable stop with the Panthers at the Fort Lauderdale bar Elbo Room, where he served drinks, poured beer over fans, and celebrated the way only a Stanley Cup winner can. And after last night’s win, Tkachuk made a new promise.

Matthew Tkachuk’s promise

Posting on X (formerly Twitter), the Stanley Cup account wrote, “Same time at the Elbo Room, Matthew?” to which Tkachuk replied, “I’m in.” Although he posted his answer at 4:55 AM local time, he might just make good on his promise after a tweet made it’s way onto the internet this morning.
What a legend!
