Jake Walman’s overtime antics has fans in stitches

The Stanley Cup Final is underway, and the Edmonton Oilers managed to make a comeback and secure the win with a power-play goal in overtime. The penalty was called on Tomas Nosek for delaying the game after shooting the puck over the boards. Now, a clip is going viral that shows the seconds after the penalty—and it has fans in stitches.

It took Leon Draisaitl, who didn’t score in last year’s Stanley Cup Final, just one minute and six seconds to give the Edmonton Oilers the lead in Game 1 of their rematch against the Florida Panthers. But the Panthers didn’t give up and bounced back. After two periods, they were up 3–1. Then, the Oilers came roaring back.

Overtime game winner

Viktor Arvidsson and Mattias Ekholm each scored a goal to send the game into overtime. With less than two minutes remaining in the first overtime period, Thomas Nosek of the Panthers shot the puck over the boards and received a two-minute penalty for delay of game. Leon Draisaitl scored the game-winner one minute and twelve seconds later. Now, a video is going viral showing what happened in the seconds after Nosek took the penalty.
