Aleksander Barkov knocked on neighbor’s house at 5 A.M.

Aleksander Barkov has captained the Florida Panthers to two consecutive Stanley Cup titles. Clearly, he got the hang of it the first time, when the Panthers celebrated in legendary fashion. After winning their second title on Tuesday night, Barkov celebrated well into the morning—and showed up at one of his neighbor’s homes at 5 a.m.

Barkov has played a pivotal role in what is beginning to look like a Florida Panthers dynasty, with three straight finals appearances and two Cup wins. Being named captain of the Panthers in 2018 and winning three Selke Trophies while averaging a point per game is an exceptional feat, and the Panthers can’t praise their captain enough.

Well deserved party

After securing their second consecutive Cup on Tuesday, the Panthers had every reason to celebrate—and they certainly did, partying all night long. Now, a video of Barkov is going viral.

Aleksander Barkov knocks on neighbors door

In the video, posted on X, filmed by a doorbell camera, Barkov can be seen knocking on his neighbor’s door at 5 a.m.
The wife of the household wakes up and answers the doorbell, saying, “He’s coming,” referring to her husband. Why? Because Barkov—like any good neighbor—wanted to show the husband the Stanley Cup he had just won, of course.
“He asked for this,” Barkov says in the hilarious video.
