Patrick Maroon didn’t put up much of a fight, but you have to give him credit.
Not many people in this world will stand up to a man that has six inches of height over them and also 25 pounds. Patrick Maroon is one of those people.
During a game between the St. Louis Blues and Boston Bruins, Maroon tangled up with the giant of the Bruins, Zdeno Chara.
After roughing up Charlie McAvoy, Chara stepped up for his young defensive partner. Himself and Maroon got tangled up by pushing and shoving. Eventually, the gloves fell off.
Chara overpowered the helpless Maroon. Maroon tried to get jabs in on Chara but it was clear that this was a fight above his weight class.
Adding insult to injury, the Bruins would go on to win, 5-2.
