Vegas could reach Stanley Cup final

It would mark the Golden Knights’ third Stanley Cup Final appearance in just nine years of existence — a remarkable achievement. But they still have to win Game 4 first. Game 3 started with a 3-0 lead for the Avalanche, but Vegas came back and scored five unanswered goals to secure their third straight win in the series. It was a devastating loss for the Avalanche, who now have to win four straight games to reach the Stanley Cup Final.
“Three straight hockey games where we feel good about where we’re at. Good spot on the road in a tough building. I think we keep rolling it, but they score on individual effort. We threw everything we had at them, and it didn’t bounce our way tonight,” Avalanche captain and goal scorer Gabriel Landeskog told reporters after the game on Sunday.

Gabriel Landeskog’s kind gesture

But now, Landeskog is getting praise online not for what he said after the game — but for what he did.
A video now going viral among hockey fans shows Gabriel Landeskog signing autographs after the game. Fans are loving the gesture, especially since the Avalanche had just suffered a heartbreaking loss.
“Very classy, especially since it is on the road and those fans probably don’t get to see them play live often,” one fan wrote on X.
“This is why I respect him and his team — top-tier players with great appreciation for the fans,” another wrote.
“He had a decent game. I’m still shocked he came back and can still play even a fraction as well as he does. That, plus being a class act,” a third fan wrote.

Game 4 will be played on Tuesday.
