The hockey world has received horrific news Friday evening, as a collision involving a junior hockey team from Saskatchewan proved to be fatal.
A passenger bus carrying the Humboldt Broncos of the SJHL collided with a semi-truck en route to their playoff game in Nipawin.
The RCMP have confirmed fatalities and a number of injuries, but the number isn’t confirmed.
At this time the RCMP has said rescue efforts remain ongoing, and that they have limited information available.
