Steven Stamkos

Steven Stamkos is a Canadian centre who was taken first overall by the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2008, captained the franchise for a decade and won back-to-back Stanley Cups in 2020 and 2021. Stamkos left Tampa Bay in free agency on 1 July 2024 for a four-year contract with the Nashville Predators. Stamkos scored a 600th NHL goal on 31 December 2025, the 22nd player in league history to reach the mark, and finished 2025-26 with 42 goals.
