Ryan Whitney

Ryan Whitney is an American former defenceman who played 481 NHL games and now co-hosts Spittin’ Chiclets, the most popular hockey podcast in North America. Whitney was drafted fifth overall by Pittsburgh in 2002 and posted a career-best 59 points alongside a young Sidney Crosby in 2006-07. Whitney and his co-hosts are part-owners of the ECHL’s Greensboro Gargoyles.
