Phil Kessel

Phil Kessel, born October 2, 1987, in Wisconsin, USA, is a professional hockey player. The Boston Bruins drafted him fifth overall in the 2005 NHL Draft.

He hasn’t played since the 2022–2023 season but hasn’t announced his retirement. He is currently an unrestricted free agent. Kessel has played for the Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs, Pittsburgh Penguins, Arizona Coyotes, and Vegas Golden Knights.

He has won three Stanley Cups—two with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 2016 and 2017, and one with the Vegas Golden Knights in 2023. Kessel is well known for his reluctance to off ice practice and his unhealthy diet.
