Luke Schenn is a Canadian defenceman who signed a one-year contract with the Vancouver Canucks on 1 July 2026. Schenn was drafted fifth overall by Toronto in 2008 and has built a long career on hitting, penalty killing and dressing-room leadership rather than points. The Canucks deal is Schenn's third stint in Vancouver, and it followed a 2025-26 season split between Winnipeg and Buffalo.
