Ivan Demidov

Ivan Demidov, born in Sergiyev, Russia, on December 19, 2005, is a professional hockey player. Demidov currently plays for the Montreal Canadiens in the NHL. He made his NHL debut on April 14, 2025, against the Chicago Blackhawks. In that game, he recorded one goal and one assist.

Heading into the 2024 NHL Draft, Demidov was considered one of the top prospects and was selected fifth overall by the Montreal Canadiens, with the pick announced by Canadian singer Céline Dion. After completing the regular season with SKA St. Petersburg on April 8, 2025, he signed a three-year, entry-level contract with the Canadiens. On April 14, 2025, he made his NHL debut, scoring one goal and one assist in the first period of a 4–3 shootout loss to the Chicago Blackhawks.
