The 2026 Olympic ice hockey tournaments were played in Milan in February, the first Winter Games with NHL players since 2014. The United States won both gold medals, beating Canada 2-1 in overtime in each final — Jack Hughes scored the men’s winner on 22 February and Megan Keller the women’s on 19 February. Connor McDavid was named the men’s tournament MVP despite finishing on the losing side.
