Gino Odjick

Gino Odjick was a Canadian enforcer who played 605 NHL games over 12 seasons and collected 2,567 penalty minutes. Odjick, an Algonquin from the Kitigan Zibi Anishinabeg community near Maniwaki, Quebec, spent most of that career with the Vancouver Canucks, where Odjick served as on-ice protector for Pavel Bure and became one of the most cherished figures in the club's history. Odjick died on 15 January 2023, aged 52.
