Filip Hronek

Filip Hronek is a Czech defenceman who plays for the Vancouver Canucks, where Hronek logs top-pair minutes and runs a power play. Hronek came to Vancouver from the Detroit Red Wings in a 2023 trade and signed an eight-year extension the following year. Hronek played for Czechia at the 2026 Winter Olympics and, after a summer of trade speculation, said in August 2026 that he intends to stay for the Canucks' rebuild.
