Darren McCarty is a Canadian winger who won four Stanley Cups with the Detroit Red Wings. McCarty scored the Cup-clinching goal in 1997, and is best remembered for the brawl with Claude Lemieux at Joe Louis Arena that March, avenging the hit on Kris Draper. McCarty played 758 NHL games and took 1,477 penalty minutes.
