Charlie Lindgren is an American goaltender who plays for the Washington Capitals. Lindgren was never drafted, signing with Montreal out of St. Cloud State in 2016, and tied for the NHL lead with six shutouts in 2023-24. Lindgren opened the 2025-26 season with a 35-save shutout of the New York Rangers and worked as Washington's backup across 21 appearances that season.
