Andrei Svechnikov is a Russian winger for the Carolina Hurricanes, the club that took Svechnikov second overall in the 2018 NHL Draft. Svechnikov scored the first lacrosse-style Michigan goal in NHL history in October 2019 and has built a game on size, reach and work around the net. Svechnikov won his first Stanley Cup in 2026, when Carolina beat Vegas in the Final.
