Wayne Gretzky unexpectedly lauds Paul Bissonnette for wild pre-game routine during surprise visit at OHL team

Paul Bissonnette didn’t have the best NHL career, but he’s still doing okay these days.

In a short time, BizNasty has become one of the most popular figures in all of hockey.

He’s the co-host of enormous hockey podcast Spittin’ Chiclets and has been praised a lot for his work as an analyst for TNT.

Bissonnette and the NHL on TNT has been a breath of fresh air in the coverage of the NHL, and earlier this year, Biz went viral after a huge brawl with the Seattle Kraken’s mascot, which ended in him doing a People’s Elbow on ”Buoy.”

Bissonnette is engaging and humorous, and his never-ending chirping with current NHL stars during interviews on TNT is a continual source of laughter for NHL fans.

On Sunday, the OHL’s Kitchener Rangers held a special ”Biz Night” before and during their game against the Ottawa 67’s.

He was there for two different fan experiences, and a special puck drop, with the fans in attendance getting the chance to interact with him, and listen to a Q+A session.

But Bissonnette also did the lineup reveal for the Rangers ahead of the game, and the video of it quickly went viral. BizNasty always does things with energy, and this was no exception.

Bissonnette screamed the names, ran around the room, and pumped the players up before going out to play. BizNasty didn’t just get praise from fans, however, but from the greatest players of all time as well.

Surprisingly, Wayne Gretzky commented on the video posted by Spittin’ Chiclets, expressing high praise for Biz’s pre-game performance.

”He is the nicest man ever, great memories for those young men, great job biz,” wrote Gretzky.

Bissonnette and Gretzky are colleagues as they both work for TNT as analysts, but it’s still incredible to be praised by The Great One. BizNasty must be over the moon!
