Sean Avery responds to Georges Laraque and Matthew Barnaby wanting to fight him, and he doesn’t hold back

Over ten years ago, Sean Avery played his last game and declared his retirement on live TV, saying that he threw his skates in the Hudson River.

But last week, Avery unexpectedly returned to the world of hockey after signing a contract with the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL. Unfortunately, the comeback only lasted about 48 hours, as the Solar Bears announced they released him, without specifying why.

But a lot happened during the two days when Avery was back from retirement and signed for a professional team. Former NHL enforcers Matthew Barnaby and Georges Laraque both begged to be signed by teams in the ECHL to make a short comeback, in order to fight Sean Avery.

If Sean Avery makes another comeback attempt is yet to be announced, but it doesn’t look like there is going to be a fight between the former NHL enforcers anytime soon. However, one thing’s for sure; Sean Avery isn’t scared.

In a video that has gone viral on Twitter, Sean Avery responds to both Barnaby and Laraque, and viewer discretion is advised.

”Well, first of all, those fat * will probably need to lose 60 lbs each, alright? I don’t even think they can do it. But hey. Who am I to say that they can do anything? They can do anything they want, but they’re both largely obese and got terrible cardio. So good luck with that!”
