Leading the Sharks into that future is Macklin Celebrini. The 19-year-old broke the franchise record for most points in a season on Thursday. His one goal and two assists brought him to 115 points, surpassing Joe Thornton’s record from the 2006–2007 season. Also, Celebrini’s 45 goals also rank second in Sharks history. He is behind only Jonathan Cheechoo’s 56 goals in the 2005–2006 season.
