Rink-side view of Connor McDavid’s crazy OT goal just proves he’s from another planet

Is Connor McDavid really human? His start to the season actually has fans wondering, and he was at it again this weekend. Edmonton Oilers is one of the deadliest teams in the NHL when it comes to playing in overtime.

When players like McDavid and Leon Draisaitl get way more room and ice to skate on, as they do when playing three-on-three, they’re almost impossible to stop.

But heading into Saturday’s matchup against the Vegas Golden Knights, they were the lone team in the NHL not to go to overtime yet this season.

But when they eventually tied a game, they showed how difficult they are to play against. And Connor McDavid once again showed he’s on a completely different level.

McDavid was coming off a game against the LA Kings where he didn’t score any points, and during the game against the Golden Knights, he had trouble reaching his normal standard.

He only had one assist, and he afterward said he wasn’t happy. But then he showed why he’s considered the best player in the world.

McDavid scored the winner 1:17 into overtime, and it was a special goal. McDavid danced around a defender and simply chipped a shot over Knights goalie Adin Hill. It was McDavid’s 16th of the season and perhaps his most beautiful one.

Now, a new video angle of the goal just proves how difficult it really was and what a player McDavid is.

The Oilers published a rink-side view of McDavid’s goal on Youtube, and it’s just a ridiculous watch.

”He makes it look so damn easy,” one fan said.

”Trying to defend that guy must be so painful,” another added.

But everyone also loves the special angle of the goal.

”So cool to see it from this angle!” One said.

”I want this view for everything,” another said.
