Jeff Petry’s son mic’d up for a Canadiens game is one of the greatest things we’ve seen

We’ve seen both players and coaches being Mic’d up during regular games and practices. But the Canadiens took in step further, and mic’d up Jeff Petry’s son Boyd for the Canadiens game against the Panthers in early February.

Montreal switched it up letting Petry’s son Boyd be mic’d up with an all access pass before, during and after the game.

The perfect ending happened with the Canadiens sealed the deal with a 4-0 victory. Also, daddy Jeff got picked as one of the three stars of the game, tallying four assist.

Hopefully, more teams will follow the Canadiens with this awesome idea.
