Winnipeg Jets regional games are still on TSN, not Sportsnet. That matters because Rogers’ twelve-year national deal started this season and most Canadian markets were reshuffled by it — Winnipeg was not. True North extended with TSN in October 2025, so TSN3 keeps the regional package. What did change is that the national games moved, which means a Jets fan now needs three services and roughly C$75 a month to see the whole season.
Which channel are Jets games on?
TSN3 for the regional package, under a multi-year extension announced on 30 October 2025. National games are on Sportsnet, and Prime Video has its own exclusive Wednesday games — four of them involving Winnipeg. Rogers’ new national deal did not take the Jets’ regional games, which is the single most misunderstood thing about this market.
What does it cost to watch every Jets game?
About C$75 a month. TSN+ is C$29.99 a month or C$249.99 a year, having gone up in April 2026; Sportsnet+ Standard is C$34.99 a month or C$269.99 a year as of 22 September 2026, with Premium at C$44.99; and Prime Video Canada is C$9.99. That is the most expensive local answer of any club in the league. Dropping Prime is the cheapest cut — it costs you four games.
Are any Jets games free?
No. CBC has no NHL role at all this season, which ended free over-the-air hockey in Canada after 74 years. There is no antenna option in this market.
How many games are on TSN3?
Not published yet. The Jets have not released a 2026-27 broadcast schedule — last season’s came out in mid-September — so the split is an estimate. Last season it was 60 on TSN3, 13 on Hockey Night in Canada, five on Sportsnet Wednesdays and four on Prime. Across 84 games expect roughly 62 regional, around 18 national and four on Prime.
Am I in-market?
The Jets territory covers Manitoba, Saskatchewan, Nunavut, the Northwest Territories and parts of north-western Ontario including Kenora, Dryden and Thunder Bay. Regional games are blacked out on out-of-market packages inside it.
Who calls the games?
Dan Robertson on television play-by-play with Kevin Sawyer on colour and Sara Orlesky and John Lu reporting. Radio is on 680 CJOB, simulcast on Power 97, with Paul Edmonds calling, Mitchell Clinton on colour and Kelly Moore hosting. No station change this year.
When do the Jets open?
Friday 2 October, at home to Boston at Canada Life Centre. The club has not confirmed the broadcaster; it is not a Wednesday, so it will not be on Prime. Also on the calendar: the Heritage Classic against Montreal on 25 October.
