Fans can’t stop laughing over what Marc-Andre Fleury did during a goal review; everyone is saying the same thing after seeing the viral video

There’s no one quite like Marc-Andre Fleury. On December 31, 2023, Fleury played his 1,000th NHL game, becoming just the fourth goalie to reach the mark.

Just two weeks later, he became the second-winningest goaltender in NHL history after earning his 552nd win in a 5-0 victory against the New York Islanders.

But it’s not just his goaltending that has made Fleury a legend. Fleury has always been an incredibly well-liked teammate, and everyone who has ever played with him says the same thing: There’s no one better to have in the locker room.

Fleury is a winner, but he’s also a hilarious guy and somewhat of a jokester. He’s known for pulling great pranks on his teammates.

On Tuesday, a video of Fleury doing something hilarious while a goal was under review went viral.

The Ottawa Senators were on a five-game winning streak ahead of Tuesday’s game against the Minnesota Wild and completely outplayed their opponents.

Ottawa outshot the Wild 32-20, and if it hadn’t been for Fleury, they would probably have gotten a sixth straight win.

“We played a good game. We had our chances, when you play a goalie like Fleury you’ve got to get in front of him,” Senators’ Claude Giroux told TSN 1200. “We didn’t really do that and he was able to see the pucks.”

The game was tied 2-2 in the third period, but with 8:33 left, the Wild thought they had taken the lead. The officials lost sight of a loose puck sitting in the crease and blew the whistle before Kirill Kaprizov had tucked it home.

The officials didn’t have the best position to see the loose puck, and they had to review it to see if they had blown the whistle before the puck was over the line.

During the review, Fleury had other things to do, as the players were eager to find out about their decision.

As the officials reviewed the play, Fleury could be seen minding his own business by making some ice repairs in the crease with his stick and pads.

The video of Fleury doing the repairs quickly went viral, with everyone saying the same thing about it.

”I love this fella so much,” one said.

”Best in the business,” another said.

”A legend right here,” a third said.

”He’s just taking care of his crease,” a fourth said.
