Where is Carson Carels from?
Cypress River, Manitoba — a village of roughly 175 people that had produced exactly one NHL player before him, Florent Robidoux of the Chicago Blackhawks. His family runs a beef operation there of about 500 cattle and 50 goats, and the rink he learned on was built in the backyard during the pandemic.
