Which channel are Flames games on?
Sportsnet West carries the regional package, and Sportsnet and CBC carry Hockey Night in Canada on Saturdays. Sportsnet+ streams the same coverage without a television provider. Nothing about the television arrangement changed this off-season.
Where is Flames radio now?
QR Calgary, 770 AM, under a five-year agreement with Corus confirmed by the club on 3 September 2026. Hockey coverage on the station begins on 14 September, ahead of the preseason. Derek Wills continues on play-by-play, Pat Steinberg hosts the pregame and postgame shows, and the station is launching a daily Flames Now programme. Kelly Hrudey was not renewed.
Why did Sportsnet 960 shut down?
Rogers closed the station on 7 July 2026, ending its run as the Flames’ radio home and leaving the club without a flagship for two months. The move to QR Calgary settles it for five years and puts Flames coverage on a heritage Calgary signal.
What does it cost to watch every Flames game?
About $45 a month for the two services that carry the season: Sportsnet, for the regional and Hockey Night in Canada games, and a CBC signal, which is free over the air where you can receive it. That is the cheapest full-season answer of any Canadian market, because the Flames have no third rights holder taking games away.
Are Flames games blacked out?
Regional Sportsnet West games are blacked out on out-of-market packages inside the territory, which covers Alberta and a stretch of the neighbouring provinces and territories. In the United States, Flames games are on NHL Power Play through the ESPN app.
What else is different about this season?
It is the Flames’ last season at the Saddledome before the club moves to its new downtown arena. Every home date this year is a last — worth knowing if you are deciding which games to go to rather than watch.
