Blackhawks sweep Utah

The latest game was played on Thursday, and it was the Blackhawks who came out on top thanks to an overtime goal from Connor Bedard. The win means the Blackhawks won all four games between the teams this season. Despite the head-to-head record, the Mammoth hold a wild-card spot in the playoffs, while the Blackhawks sit seven points outside a playoff spot.
Despite the loss, Mammoth head coach Andre Tourigny was pleased with his team’s effort.
“Not the result we wanted, but we played a heck of a game. We hit, we were physical, we were fast, we generated a lot of offense. We actually had 33 shot attempts from the slot, probably our highest of the season. But we’re at that stage where we need to find a way to get two points, no doubt. But we also got a big point, and we played a heck of a game,” Tourigny told NHL.com after the game.

Bedard is on pace for the best season of his career with 82 points. Last season, he scored 67 points in 82 games.
