Marc-Andre Fleury’s agent makes stunning claim

Marc-Andre Fleury said goodbye to his Hall of Fame career after the 2024–2025 season. But now, his agent Allan Walsh has made a stunning claim, sparking speculation that a Fleury comeback could be possible.

Fleury can look back at a career few NHL players could match. With three Stanley Cups with the Pittsburgh Penguins, one Vezina Trophy, one Olympic gold medal, and 575 wins, he is virtually guaranteed a spot in the Hall of Fame once he becomes eligible—a process that might take some time.

Marc-Andre Fleury comeback rumours

Rumors are now circulating about a sensational NHL return. The reason? Fleury has been practicing at the Minnesota Wild training center, the team he represented from 2022 to 2025. Fleury’s outspoken agent, Allan Walsh, posted a video of him in training on his X (formerly Twitter) page, captioned “Flower training.”
At the end of January, Fleury himself downplayed the possibility of a comeback.
“Probably not. A couple teams asked. But I just said, ‘No.’ It’s tough for some reasons,” he told TSN at the time.

Fans are hoping

Now, with the recent video circulating, fans are buzzing about the potential of a return if Fleury decides to come out of retirement.
“To impress visiting Habs scouts,” one fan wrote on X.
“Mid-season comeback on the brink?” another commented.
“Signing with the Habs 100%,” a third added.
