Youngblood

Youngblood is a 1986 hockey film starring Rob Lowe as a skilled farm boy who joins a Canadian junior team and has to learn to fight to survive. Patrick Swayze plays the veteran teammate and Keanu Reeves, in his first feature film, plays the goaltender. Youngblood was filmed in Toronto and reviewed poorly, but a long life on video made it hockey’s second best-known movie after Slap Shot.
