Team Germany hockey

Germany's men's national ice hockey team is governed by the Deutscher Eishockey-Bund and has won one Olympic medal in the modern era, a silver at Pyeongchang in 2018. Germany reached the World Championship final in 2023 and took silver after an overtime loss to Canada, the country's first Worlds medal in 70 years. Germany then lost to Slovakia in the quarter-finals at the 2026 Milano-Cortina Olympics to finish sixth, and went out in the preliminary round of the 2026 World Championship.
