Jay Bouwmeester

Jay Bouwmeester was a Canadian defenceman who played 1,240 NHL games for Florida, Calgary and St. Louis. Bouwmeester went third overall to the Panthers in 2002 and then played 737 straight games, the longest run by a defenceman in NHL history when the streak ended in 2014. Bouwmeester won the Stanley Cup with the Blues in 2019 to join the Triple Gold Club, and Bouwmeester's playing career ended in February 2020, with retirement announced the following January.
