Bruce Cassidy
Bruce Cassidy is a Canadian head coach who won the Stanley Cup with the Vegas Golden Knights in 2023 and the Jack Adams Award as coach of the year with Boston in 2020. Cassidy built that career on a long apprenticeship, including eight seasons running the AHL's Providence Bruins before Boston promoted Cassidy in 2017. Vegas fired Cassidy in late March 2026 with eight games of the regular season left, and Cassidy has not coached since, because Vegas holds Cassidy to the rest of his contract and has restricted interviews elsewhere.
