Anze Kopitar

Anze Kopitar was a Slovenian centre who played 1,521 NHL games across twenty seasons, all with the Los Angeles Kings. Kopitar arrived in 2006 as the first Slovenian ever to play in the league, won Stanley Cups in 2012 and 2014, wore the captain's C from 2016, and finished as the franchise leader in both games played and points. Kopitar retired after the 2025-26 season, and the Kings will raise his No. 11 to the rafters on 24 February 2027 and unveil a statue outside the arena the same day.
