Winnipeg’s Offense Was Firing on all Cylinders During Game 1 Victory

The place was rocking Wednesday evening when the Winnipeg Jets played host to the Minnesota Wild. Thankfully for the hometown crowd, their Jets were able to defeat the visitors 3-2.

Minnesota netminder Devan Dubnyk faced an abundance of rubber in the loss, as the Jets poured on 40 in the victory.

Mark Scheifele opened the scoring for Winnipeg in the second period. In the third, Matt Cullen and Zach Parise both found the back of the net, giving the lead to Minnesota. But, with the crowd behind them, Winnipeg pushed and continued to throw pucks on net, as Patrick Laine and Joe Morrow both beat Dubnyk to give the Jets the lead and ultimately the victory.
