The Vegas Golden Knights have certainly had a historic year. The newly formed franchise was one of the top teams in the NHL and have now won their first playoff game.
There were obviously many critics and doubters ahead of the Golden Knights’ inaugural season. But the selected bunch from various teams trucked on and not only have made the playoffs but have won a game.
Shea Theodore was the goal scorer for Vegas, capping off a thrilling evening. Vegas had a loud and proud fan base cheering them on in their first game, as the fans did not go home disappointed. There were a couple close calls, but ultimately the Knights defeated Los Angeles 1-0.
