Ryan Hartman surprises everyone with his words after making obscure gesture toward Evander Kane

In the middle of the third period, in the game between the Edmonton Oilers and Minnesota Wild, a huge scrum broke out. Wild’s star Kirill Kaprizov and Oilers’ Kailer Yamamoto got engaged, and enforcer Evander Kane wasn’t late to get involved.

Kane crosschecked Kaprizov, and several Wild players immediately went after Kane.

Ryan Hartman was one of the players involved in the scrum, and as the linesman stopped him from fighting Kane, Hartman gave Kane the center finger.

“It goes to show, we had five guys in there. They didn’t have one guy in there to help him,” Hartman told reporters about the incident. “I don’t suppose any of their guys are going to defend him.”

When asked about what he would think about a fine from the NHL, Hartman also added that it would be, ”well worth it.”
